the trig point on Meall Ghaordaidh

Meall Ghaordaidh is a large hill which rises between Glen Lochay and Glen Lyon about 9 kilometres north-west of Killin. The summit is marked with a large cairn enclosure which offers good protection.
From Glen Lochay Meall Ghaordaidh appears as a domed featureless hill isolated from any other hills which it is why it's usually climbed alone.

Cona' Mheall is a splendid munro that has a long narrow summit ridge that curves up from the south-east, this rises steeply from the foot of Coire Ghranda (gloomy corrie) and has a narrow crest with cliffs & bolder slopes that drop steeply both sides.
