An Socach [Glen Affric] is an munro in Scotand and is located in the area Glen Affric and Kintail as defined by SMC (and lies in region known as Glen Affric )

An Socach is a craggy munro surrounded by many munros which are much grander in stature as it is the smallest munro on a long ridge of mountains. An Socach is the most westerly of the line of four munros on the north side of Loch Mullardoch, known collectively as the Mullardochs, rising to the north of Glen Affric on a horseshoe ridge around the deep remote Gleann a' Choilich on the south western side.

Usual access is via the western ridge via Stob Coire na Cloiche which connects to the munro Sgurr nan Ceathreamhnan or alternatively by the north eastern ridge to Mam Sodhail. An Socach is rarely climbed from Gleann a' Choilich due to the remote nature of the glen

An Socach has a treasured view down Glen Affric.
