Details for An Socach [Glen Ey]
An Socach is a long stony whaleback some 3km long with two tops, the one on the east rising to 938 metres and slightly higher wester top overlooks Loch nan Eun. From the western end which is the true summit at 944 metres, a short ridge runs northerly towards Atnour Lodge down in Glen Ey.
An Socach is usually climbed on it's own from either from Baddoch or from the ski centre on the A93.
The approach from Baddoch is along a bulldozed private track on which a bike may be taken on getting you to the base of the hill.
