Mountain Description for Beinn Bhreac [Glen Derry]

Beinn Bhreac [Glen Derry] is a munro in Scotand and is located in the area The Cairngorms as defined by SMC

(and lies in region known as Braemar )

Beinn Bhreac stretches a vast medium-level plateau on the eastern side of Glen Derry and is one of the fine remote places of The Cairngorms. It's a dry spur that rises above the featureless plateau of Moine Bhealaidh on the north into two tops of which the eastern being the highest at 931 metres therefore being the summit point.

Usual access is via the top to the north-west of the summit called Craig Derry (NO040980) and down south to Glen Derry via the shallow Coire an Fhir Bhogha. Alternatively can be combined with Beinn a'Chaorainn on the north via Moine Bhealaidh.
