Details for Beinn Eunaich
Beinn a 'Chochuill & Beinn Eunaich are the highest peaks that lie on a 12km ridge between Loch Etive and Glen Strae.
Beinn Eunaich is a pretty compact mountain with three well-defined ridges converging at its summit forming a pyramidal shape and also holds a fine corrie to the east. The western ridge joins Beinn a 'Chochuill at the high Lairig Ianachain (728 metres) col.
The ascent can be made easily from Castle Farm which gives splendid views over Loch Awe and the long ridges that form the Dalmally Horseshoe. The best view of Beinn Eunaic is from the Strath of Orchy near the head of Loch Awe.
