Details for Beinn Fhionnlaidh [Glen Etive]
Beinn Fhionnlaidh is a fairly isolated hill forming a ridge which runs from east to west with a central summit, situated between Glen Etive and Glen Creran. The northern face of Beinn Fhionnlaidh has a large open corrie with steep craggs high on it's eastern flanks. On the east it has a smaller satellite top (841 metres) which throws down a north north east ridge which is interupted by a number of steps.
Beinn Fhionnlaidh is hiden from all areas ecept the A828 road at the head of Loch Creran.
Access is usually from the 841m top from the south via the bealach between it and the much smaller Meall nan Gobhar which ivolves some simple scambling.
