Cairn Bannoch is a munro in Scotand and is located in the area Glen Shee to Mount Keen as defined by SMC

Cairn Bannoch is a small mound ehich stands at the south eastern end of The Lochnagar Hills which is a twisting ridge made up from 5 munros that rise on the western side of Loch Muick by the Spittal of Glenmuick. The summit point is marked with a large granite tor. The only real feature of the munro is nearly 1km to the east of the summit are the cliffs called Creag an Dubh Loch which rise over Dubh Loch and worth a visit event though usually out of ones way. On the south east from Cairn Bannoch's summit is a broad ridge which connect to Broad Cairn via the peak Cairn of Gowal.
Usual access is from the munro Broad Cairn which is nearly always climbed on the same days outing via a path along the ridge. Access to Broad Cairn is via a bulldozed track up from Spittal of Glenmuick along the east side of the loch.
