Mountain Description for Carn Bhac
Carn Bhac is a munro in Scotand and is located in the area The West Mounth: Blair Atholl to Braemar as defined by SMC
(and lies in region known as Glen Ey )Carn Bhac is the highest point of a mass of hills rising on the southwest of Braemar village. Its appearance from below is a rounded hill and it's marked with a medium sized cairn. It's a munro which is not visited often due to it's remoteness set in the wilds of the Mounth and having no really interesting features.
Usual access is from the ruined Altanour Lodge which is some 8km from Inverey. Alteratively it's usually combined with Beinn Iutharn Mhor which is climbed first and access to Carn Bhac is from the south-western top which drops to a col marked 818 between the 2 peaks.
