A' Chailleach (Monadh Liath) is a munro in Scotand and is located in the area Glen Roy to Monadhliath as defined by SMC
(and lies in region known as Monadhliath )A' Chailleach is a pretty featureless munro to the north of Newtonmore & Kingussie and is part of a undulating plateau, it's best and only real feature is the eastern corrie. A' Chailleach is the highest munro of the 2 on this eastern section with the other munro on the north Carn Sgulain being 10 metres smaller and usually climbed on the same outing.
Usual access is from Glen Banchor on the south from a track up the Allt Fionndrigh and the onto the south-eastern slopes of A' Chailleach.
