Mountain Description for Cona' Mheall

Cona' Mheall is a munro in Scotand and is located in the area Loch Broom to Easter Ross as defined by SMC

(and lies in region known as The Deargs )

Cona' Mheall is a splendid munro that has a long narrow summit ridge that curves up from the south-east, this rises steeply from the foot of Coire Ghranda (gloomy corrie) and has a narrow crest with cliffs & bolder slopes that drop steeply both sides. Coire Ghranda's impressive north-east facing cliffs separate it from Beinn Dearg which us usually climbed alongside this munro.

The summit of Cona' Mheall is bouldery and lies on it's nothern end.
A small unnamed hill Point 886 (NH266819) links Cona' Mheall and Beinn Dearg. Older hill walkers may remember that this munro was one of the few with no summit cairn but now one has appeared on the north eastern end of it's flat top

Usual acents to Cona' Mheall are from it's southern ridge over steep grass and easy rocks, or via Beinn Dearg from the west via point 886.
