Mountain Description for Creag Pitridh
Creag Pitridh is a munro in Scotand and is located in the area Loch Linnhe to Loch Ericht as defined by SMC
(and lies in region known as Ardverikie )Creag Pitridh is part of a group of munros that lies south of Loch Laggan and is noticeably smaller than its neighbours. The most distinguishable features area a pointed summit which is almost surrounded by crags with broken crags on its western face. The munro is quite a distance from the road but has an extensive network of estate roads & stalker paths make the summit quite easy to reach.
Access is usually from the south-west from the summit where there are easy slopes down to the stalker path in Coire Pitridh or via the broad south-eastern ridge from the bealach that links to the eastern munro Geal Charn.
Good views north onto Binnein Shios over Lochan na h-Earba & onto Loch Laggan.
