Details for Meall nan Eun
Meall nan Eun lies on the east side of the lower Glen Etive and appears as great dome with a distinctive concave corrie on it's south eastern flank. Meall nan Eun is connected to Stob Coir an Albannaich via Meall Tarsuin which is the usual way of ascent.
Meal nan Eun is well defended on it's east, north and southern flanks despite being flat topped making any descent route difficult unless great care is taken, descent open slopes can be found on the south-western corner of the munro.
Meall nan Eun is often dismissed as being 'a fairly unimpressive munro' and although it rests tamely between much larger munros on either side no other hill in this group is composed of such consistent steep ground with only a north west ridge presenting an easy route. Through an arc from the south-west to the north-north-east the flat topped Meall nan Eun is surrounded by steep plaques of granite that uncompromisingly fall away and are best avoided.
The number of registered munro-madness users who have climbed Meall nan Eun is Fifteen
