Ruadh Stac Mor is a munro in Scotand and is located in the area Loch Maree to Loch Broom as defined by SMC

(and lies in region known as Letterewe / Fisherfield )

Ruadh Stac Mor is one of Scotlands most remote munros situated in the centre of th Fisherfield and Letterewe Forests at the head of Lochan Fada. It forms part of a elongated ridge running from the north-west to southeast with craggy craggy sides all round except for is north-eastern side having moderate slopes dropping down to Lochan a'Bhraghad.

Ruadh Stac Mor is constructed largely of sandstone with steep terraced cliffs round its western flank. The munro A' Mhaighdean lies to the south west and is linked to Ruadh Stac Mor via a high col (750 metres).

Anyone who has seen the red sandstone northern slopes by the morning sun will appreciate the mountains name (Big red hill).
