Mountain Description for Sgor Gaibhre
Sgor Gaibhre is a munro in Scotand and is located in the area Loch Linnhe to Loch Ericht as defined by SMC
(and lies in region known as Loch Ossian )Sgor Gaibhre rises to the east of Loch Ossian and to the west of Loch Ericht with the summit being marked with a tiny cairn over looking it's north eastern crags.
Usual access is from the munro Carn Dearg from the boggy bealach called Mam Ban situated on the western side which have gentle grassy slopes.
In the winter vast herds of dear gather in Coire Eigheach on Sgor Gaibhre's south west and slopes beneath Mam Ban.
