Sgurr nan Coireachan (Glen Dessary)

Sgurr nan Coireachan (Glen Dessary) is an munro in Scotand and is located in the area Loch Eil to Glen Shiel as defined by SMC (and lies in region known as Glen Dessarry )

Sgurr nan Coireachan is a munro in the heart of remote wilderness between Loch Arkaig, Loch Quoich & Loch Nevis rising on the north side of upper Glean Dessary. It is quite a shy peak standing centrally on the Gairich-Sgurr na Ciche ridge and not easily seen unless up high on neighbouring munros or tops. Although Sgurr nan Coireachan is beyond Knoydart's true boundaries it remains closely associated with the name 'the Rough Bounds'.

Access can be from numerous places but it is usually climbed with Garbh Chioch Mhor and Sgurr na Ciche along the Gairich-Sgurr na Ciche ridge. Alternatively to get onto the ridge via Sgurr nan Coireachan southern ridge from a path near Alt Coire nan Uth.
