Details for Stob Coire Sgriodain
Located between Loch Treig and Chno Dearg, Stob Coire Sgriodain's can be bagged easily from Fersit (hamlet at the north end of Loch Treig). Stob Coire Sgriodain is a long craggy mountain with three tops situated on the south which arch around the “Lochan Coire an Lochain” on it's eastern flanks. The northern top is the highest peak with munro status and is marked a medium size cairn. The northern slopes which eventually drop down to Fersit are very bouldery.
It is usually climbed from Fersit via a long ridge that takes you all the way to the summit; there are a couple of crags on the way but these are easily navigated through. Chno Dearg is usually climbed on the same outing via a bealch on Stob Coire Sgriodain's eastern side.
