This route climbs the most northern munro of the Arrochar Alps by the under appreciated south ridge of Ben Vorich (Dunbartonshire) . The south ridge not as well trodden as the steep slopes down to Sloy Dam and is longer an has lots of ups and down which eventually leads to the 3 peaks on the summit with the true summit being (943 m) . To descend retrace steps back along the southern ridge just over 1km to the rocky knoll which marks the spot to descend the steep well trodden north-western slopes down to join the path just before the Loch Sloy Dam.

The views over to Ben Lomond on the south south east are best viewed from the southern top.
