Ben Vorlich and Stuc a Chroin situated in the southern highlands offers a good challenging climb up of a couple of well recognised munros. The approach of this route from Ardvorlich is the sortest heading up a good path which is steep and rocky in places up the northern ridge of Ben Vorlich onto the summit point. From here descend it's south-western ridge onto Bealach an Dubh Choirein which is simplified by following a fence (useful in bad visibility) then along the ridge climbing until you reach Stuc a' Chroin's north-eastern face which needs to be scrambled up or can be avoided. Once at the top a cairn is reached and the summit point is 1/2km to the south along some fence posts.

To descend, back to Bealach an Dubh Choirein and avoid the summit of Ben Vorlich droping back to rejoin the path and then follow back the same approach route.

Ben Vorlich offers a steep climb with its huge corrie and scree slops prominent features as you ascend and Stuc a Chroin offering a full scramble up to the summit ridge.
