The route up Ben Chonzie can be climbed in a shortish day and is a relatively easy summit to bag. It's the highest peak of a large area of moorland and rounded hills between Loch Earn and Loch Tay, and has a broad, flat summit and very few distinguishing features, it is often regarded as one of Scotland's least interesting Munros.

Starting from Glen Lednock head to the buildings at Coishavachan turn which leads to a rougher track. Continue along the track which crosses a bridge and eventually leads to a small dam on the Invergeldie forks. Where it forks keep to the left and ascend uphill heading north of Creag Gharbh continue up and eventually get to an old metal fence which leads on to the summit.

On a clear day expect views over to Ben Lawers Hills on the north west and on the sout west over to Loch Earn Hills
