The software, known as Cardinal Points referring to the directions north, south, east, and west usually denoted by their initials: N, S, E, W. With many users relying on Global Positioning Software (GPS) to find the way on the hills these days. This however shouldn't be relied on 100% as you never know what can happen lose connection, battery failure, breakage or loss.

New Scrambling Course Announced

Great news for Munro Baggers who are a little worried about any scambling as The Mountaineering Council of Scotland has launched a new course for members on scrambling. Its for beginners and its for baggers who want to improve their  technical skills so climbing them munros and tops which require a head for heights and firm grip appear slightly easier, and also enabling other routes to be tackled on familiar hills.
