    Ben Starav,

To date I have completed 180 munro's and I can safely say that BEN STARAV is one of my favourites.

Starting at sea level virtually on the shores of the loch, once you gain the ridge it is fairly straightforward with no
great shakes. When you reach the summit the views are extensive, especially to the East abd the South.

Thats a great photo. I've done quite a few munros but never experienced any cloud inversion in Scotland only Scarfell Pike & that was great.

Details for: Etive

The Etive Hills are clearly bounded by the great sea loch Loch Etive on the west, Glen Kinglass on the south & Loch Dochard and outflows on the east. The characteristics of these hills are deep glens with large exposures of granite with large pavements on the high ridges.

All of these munros can easily be reached from Glen Etive and all can be completed in a single days outing but are usually split into 2 days -
