Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park

Lomond is an region in Scotand and is located in the area Loch Lomond to Loch Tay as defined by SMC

There is only one munro on Lomond (Region) | Loch Lomond to Loch Tay.

The Lomond region lies on the east site of the impresive Loch Lommond and contains the most southerly of Scotlands Munros. The southern part of of Ben Lomond is now owned by the National Trust of Scotland.

Loch Lomond is probably the most well known of Scotlands Lochs being 34 kms long and the largest. The east side of the Loch is much more peaceful than the west site where the busy A82 road lies.

There is a narrow road from Dryman to Rowardennan which ends up at a cul de sac just past the Hotel. The road stops there and the forms part of the Westhighland Way.
