The most spectacular ascent of Ben Lui is from Dalrigh near Tyndrum with a great view of the north eastern corries all the way up the glen until you reach the foot of the munro. Then climb north western slopes to reach the north eastern ridge of Ben Laoigh (Ben Lui) called Stob Garbh. The summit is marked with a cairn a few metres from the north-west top of Ben Laoigh
