Beinn na Lap is a route in “The Loch Ossian” region / range which is located in the Loch Linnhe to Loch Ericht area of the Scottish Highlands as defined by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.

On this route you return by same way

Beinne na Lap is a very easy munro to climb, the only awkward part is getting to the starting point. On this route we start from Corrour Station for a short day out as your starting altitude is high, and the distance isn't that great either plus it's over quite gentle open slopes all the way to the summit.

However, this may be an easy munro to climb bu you still get a good view of the area:

  • To the east you get a view right down Glen nevis so you have Ben Nevis, The Grey Corries, The Aonachs & The Mamores
  • To the north are views of the peaks of Stob Coire Sgriodain & Chno Dearg
  • To the west are the munros Geal-Charn (Alder region) & Carn Dearg (Alder region)
  • To the south across Loch Ossian is the peak of Stob Gaibhre & Carn Dearg
  • All one can say it's a great viewpoint for so little work
