Carn an Fhidhleir and An Sgarsoch is a route in “The Glen Ey” region / range which is located in the The West Mounth: Blair Atholl to Braemar area of the Scottish Highlands as defined by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.

This route take you over the two remote hills of Carn an Fhidhleir and An Sgarsoch which are along way from civilization on a good track. If you're making the long walk in this will be a long strenuous day; The use of a bike up to Geldie Lodge & beyond if determained along a landrover track will shorten the day considerably.

Ascent: 940m / 3084 feet

Note there are 3 river fords to cross and all can be crossed unless in spate.

  1. Allt Dhaidh search downstream for crossing
  2. Geldie Burn search upstream crossing
  3. Should be no difficulties 

If bikes are taken they should be left at Geldie Lodge and collected on return
