This route takes in two fairly remote Munros Carn an t-Sagairt More & Carn a'Choire Bhoidheach which are to the east of Lochnagar on the Balmoral Estate; there is a large amount of walk-in/walk-out here, but is quite manageable.

Start from the farm at Auchallater and follow the private track up alongside Callater Burn in to Glen Callater until you reach Lochcallater Lodge NO17618444 don't follow the path leads by Loch Callater, take the other which leads uphill initially. Ascend round the side of Creag an Loch following the twisting path and at around 900m branch to the left to reach the summit of Carn an t-Sagairt Mor. Then head easily over to Carn a' Choire Bhaidheach, possibly detouring slighlty to view The Stuic.

Descend from the summit of Carn a' Choire Bhaidheach from the west where you will you find the path you ascended on, the path easily contours around the flanks of Carn an t-Saigart Mor and the long leasurely walk back to Auchallater.

Probably the most noticeable point of the route is the dramatic 1093m point called The Stuic (meaning Projecting Hill) which is a rocky buttress & minor summit to the north of Carn a'Coire Boidheach.
