This route covers two of the highest points on the northern end of Rannoch Moor which form a horseshoe south of Kingshead Hotel. The ascent of Meall a'Bhuiridh is fairly easy by folowing the ski tows but the route upto to Creise is more difficult as simple scrambling is required over rocky crags onto the south plateau.
