This is the usual ascent of Gairich that starts from the car park at the Loch Quoich at grid reference NH070024 . From there the dam wall is crossed and a path is picked up which goes south for 2.5 kilometres to reach the lower part of the eastern ridge.

Gairich gives a fairly easy day out for walkers and its isolated summit is a superb viewpoint of the area.
