The route starts from Craig taking the track up the glen of the Allt a' Chonais for approx 5km until the crossing is reached (wire bridge) Make the crossing heading up to Bealach Bhearnais where the ridge of Beinn Tharsuinn can be made traversing some tops and descending to Bealach an Sgoltaidh. Descend is made by returning to the col between Lurg Mhor & Bidein a'Choire Sheasgaith - Lurg Mhor and heading north east reaching about 350m where one can traverse around the south eastern nose of Beinn Tharsuinn to reach Bealach Bhearnais where the long return can be made back to Creag.
