This is an excellent walk & quite a tough one over 3 munros which form an arc of ridges above Kinlochleven. The routes approach is from Kinlochleven along a land rover track east of the lodge. Where the track crosses the Allt Coire na Ba leave the track and head directly up the hillside bearing north-east taking the steep line of ascent up to the summit of Na Gruagaichean.

From here on to the next munro Stob Coire a'Chairn which can be reached by a walk along the broad ridge bearing to the north-west.

From Stob Coire a'Chairn continue along the starting to the west, then south-west will take you over a subsidiary and lead you to the summit of Am Bodach.

Descent can be found via the south-eastern ridge of Am Bodach heading for the bealach between Sgurr an Fhurain and Am Bodach. Just before the bealach descend down the easier slopes on the south west eventually reaching the west highland way which leads back to Mamore Lodge / Kinlochleven.
