This is a route up one of the 2 hidden munros behind Bidean nan Bian and the other great hills of glencoe, this route up Sgor na h-Ulaidh is interesting with good views of the other famous hills.
Starting from Invercharnan walk past house and head along the obvious forest track which climbs gradually through Gleann Charnan and Glenetive forest. Where the tracks meet around NN12074877 marked with a cairn follow the obvious path out of the forest onto hillside. Climb the rough slopes onto the summit of the minor top Meall a'Bhuiridh where access to the munro Sgor na h-Ulaidh can be gained by an easy bealach between the 2 peaks.
Descent is by the same route but it's possible to add onto the munro Beinn Fhionnlaidh from Glen Etive
