This route up the lesser known Glencoe munro Sgor na h-Ulaidh which has quite a long approach. This approach is from Glean Leac na Muidhe found off the A82 road where a private road follows the west side of a burn up into the glen and past some farm building. There are some splendid views off the Aonach Eagach ridge from here.
Continue up into the Glen onto a bealach where steep slopes can be climbed to reach the top Stob an Fhuarain, and then head west onto via a col onto the munro summit of Sgor na h-Ulaidh.
Descent on the west from Corr na Beinne steeply onto Bealach Easan from where the ascent path can be rejoined for the return.
