The South Cuillin Ridge

Sgurr Dubh Mor & Sgurr nan Eag is a route in “The Cuillin” region / range which is located in the The Islands area of the Scottish Highlands as defined by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.

On this route you return by same way

The south of The Cuillin ridge which takes in the two munros Sgurr Dubh Mor & Sgurr nan Eag which is the most southern peak. The peaks are reached from Glen Brittle via a rough path upto Coire' a' Grunnda which is one of Scotland's fines corries.

The part between Sgurr Dubh na Da Bheinn and Sgurr Dubh Mor is the trickiest part and is steep although not particular exposed but a head for heights is required.

The Cuillin should not be attempted if you aren't comfortable with scrambling and route-finding on rock, find a Cuillin Guide. The rock here is magnetic and compass reading are unreliable.
