“The Easains” or “The Stob Coires”

Stob a'Choire Mheadoin & Stob Coire Easain is a route in “The Loch Treig” region / range which is located in the Loch Linnhe to Loch Ericht area of the Scottish Highlands as defined by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.

This is a mainly circular route but there are parts where you need to retrace your footsteps

A fairly straight forward route climbing the 2 munros Stob a'Choire Mheadhoin & Stob Coire Easain starting from the hamlet of Fersit. From there ascend gradually, albeit steep in places the long north-eastern ridge onto the summits. The impressive Coire Easain Beag stands between the two mountains and the descent is from there.

From the tops there are particularly good views of The Grey Corries as well as the other surrounding mountains of the area.
