Eastern Munros of Loch Treig

Stob Coire Sgriodain & Chno Dearg is a route in “The Loch Treig” region / range which is located in the Loch Linnhe to Loch Ericht area of the Scottish Highlands as defined by the Scottish Mountaineering Club.

This is a circular route

These two munros give a fairy short easy day out with no major difficulities only some crags to be climbed around Sron na Garbh Bheinne which can be avoided if need be. Stob Coire Sgriodain is the most insteresting of the 2 peaks and forms a ridge which arcs above Lochan Coire an Lochain with the western flanks dropping steeply to Loch Treig below.

There are excellent views along the whole on Loch Treig.
